Carol Pitts

Carol Joy Pitts, 49, of Ottawa, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011 in Ottawa, Illinois. She will be cremated. Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Christ Community Church, 807 LaSalle Street, Ottawa. A luncheon will follow at the church. Carol was born December 25, 1961 in Ottawa, Illinois to Josephine Westcott Farrell and Robert Barto. She is survived by former husband, John Pitts of Ottawa; three daughters, Brooke (Jeff) Eaton of Peoria, Rebecca Pitts and Angela (Josh Rowe) Pitts, both of Ottawa; three grandchildren, Zachary and Josephine Eaton and Jaida Pitts, and also two on the way; three sisters, Cindy Hughes of Sterling, Debbie Farrell of Toluca, and her twin Mary (Bill) Riddle of Ottawa; two brothers, Merle (Debbie) Farrell and Dennis (Karen) Farrell, both of Ottawa; and many loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father and mother. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
