Carol L. (Hetelle) Ator

Carol L. (Hetelle) Ator, 73, of Ottawa joined her husband in Heaven on Friday, April 23, 2021.

Memorial services for both Carol and Reggie will be held at 1 pm, Friday, April 30 at Ottawa Funeral Home, with Pastor Kevin Donoho officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 am to 1 pm, prior to services, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Memorial Park. Family and friends attending will kindly be asked to wear a face covering and maintain social distance.

Carol was born April 3, 1948 in Ottawa to Kenneth and Loretta (Carrier) Hetelle. She married Reginald P. Ator on April 29, 1967 at the First Baptist Church in Ottawa; he passed away on April 11. Together in Heaven, they are celebrating 54 wonderful years of marriage.

Carol was employed for several years with the Ottawa Greenhouse. She was currently employed at Teleperformance, where she has worked since October of 1995. Over the years, Carol enjoyed traveling to both Colorado and Branson, Missouri. She made many fond memories spending time with family, friends, and her Groom. When she could, she enjoyed playing a good game of BINGO.

She is survived by her three daughters, Trisha (Dave) Martin, Missy (Mike) Ciesielski, and Julie Burnley; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; her brother, Mark (Anne) Hetelle; her sister, Kathy (Ron) Hermann; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Reggie; her parents; and her step-father Stephen Magelli.

Memorials may be directed to any of her three daughters, Trisha, Missy, or Julie.
