Bryan D. Apfel

Bryan D. Apfel, 41, of Ottawa passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017.

Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1:00 to 4:00, prior to the funeral, Wednesday at Ottawa Funeral Home. Cremation rites have been entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home and Crematory.

Bryan was born August 4, 1975 in Peoria, Illinois to Daniel and Linda (Summers) Apfel. He married Tiffany Redford on January 9, 2004 in Ottawa, Illinois. He attended Swift Truck Driving School in Arizona. He was a truck driver for the past fourteen years for Exl Express Lease, LLC. Bryan never met a stranger and enjoyed making people laugh and smile. He enjoyed spending time at the Oasis chatting with his fellow truck driving buddies. He loved to sing karaoke and definitely could "cut a rug". He enjoyed watching NASCAR and drag racing. Most of all Bryan enjoyed spending time with his children and family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tiffany; three children, Maeghan Apfel of Ottawa, Dalton Brush of AZ, and Destiney Mitchell of FL.; his mother, Linda (Dale) Tenopir of AZ; his siblings, Tommy Apfel and Tammy Apfel both of AZ; his mother-in-law, Sheila (Gary) Modesitt; Father-in-law, Tom (Cindy) Redford of TX; brothers and sister-in-laws, Mindy (Charles) Sheely, Nina Alvizo, William (Kimberly) Modesitt, Michael (Karen) Modesitt, and Travis Redford; fifteen nieces and nephews, Donny, Ethan, Nicholas, Tommy Jr., Jill, Julianna, Ashley, Carley, Alana, Kamea, Karissa, Kassidy, Liam, Conrad, and Garrett; one great niece, Annalisa; many aunts and uncles; and his favorite furry friends, Brutis, Zoey, and Buffy.

He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Apfel.
