Brittany N. (Kinkade) Cox

Brittany Nicole Cox, 36, of Ottawa passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 18, 2021.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 pm on Friday, September 24 at the Knights of Columbus in Ottawa-please use the back door to enter for the service. Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.

Brittany was born July 10, 1985 in Ottawa to DeWayne and Ria (Arroyo) Kinkade. She met Patrick Kolesar 14 years ago, and they've been together ever since. Brittany was a CNA at Ottawa Pavilion, where she has worked for over 14 years.

Brittany was a free-spirit who was always smiling. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hiking and kayaking with her family at Starved Rock. Most importantly, she was a proud mother of her three children.

She is survived by her mother, Ria Kinkade; her fiancée, Patrick Kolesar; three children, Nicoli, Korbin, and Camila; two brothers, Justin (Tiffany) and Jeremy (Renee); her maternal grandmother, Marilyn Arroyo; her parents-in-law, Debbie and Michael Kolesar; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, DeWayne Kinkade; and her grandfather, David Arroyo.
