Brent Valdez

Brent Valdez, 45, of Ottawa, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 1, 2024.

He was born January 26, 1979 to Ruben and Brenda (Robinson) Valdez of Ottawa.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda Sauer; his brothers, Justin and Brandon Valdez; his children, Trent, Taylor, Ruben, and Julian; his girlfriend and long time companion, Tabitha Lobb; eleven nieces and nephews, and his half brother, Corey Futrell.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ruben Valdez; his grandparents, Ernest and Hortencia Valdez and Carson and Dorothy Robinson Sr.; and many aunts and uncles.

My son, our father, and our brother, Brent, had a heart of gold and was always putting others first. He always made sure somehow, someway, he would make memories for his children and family. He was a Forty Niners and White Sox fan. He was always a jokester just like his dad, and always made everyone laugh. His favorite past time was fishing with his family.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 17, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm, at the VFW in Ottawa.
