Beulah Reed

Beulah Elizabeth Reed, 92, of Ottawa, IL, died, Sunday, March 20, 2011 at her sons home. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Rev. Garry Briesacher officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 PM in Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton, Illinois. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 29 at Trinity Lutheran Church, arrangements are entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home. Beulah was born October 22, 1918, in Wyanet, Illinois to Charles and Della (Norris) Neff. She married Raymond V. Reed on March 1, 1957 in Corinth, MS. He died March 19, 1988. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Local Neighborhood Watch and the Local AARP. She is survived by one son, Richard G (Velda) Reed of LaSalle; a step-son, Jack Reed of Fort Myers FL.; four grandchildren, Michael (Lauren) Reed of Alexandria, VA., Linda Waddel of Westminster CO., Ronald (Diana) Reed of Winston-Salem NC, and Brian (Trisha) Reed of Spring Valley IL,; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several step-grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marilyn J. Proueaux; a step-daughter, Mary J, Reed; one brother, Vernon Neff; and one sister, Betty J. Nielsen. Pallbearers will be Ronald and Brian Reed, Michael Yocum and Eldon Hoelzer. Memorials may be directed to the family.
