Betty Peek

Betty Peek, 80, of Ottawa passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Asta Care of Toluca. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 am to 11:00 am prior to services Saturday at Ottawa Funeral Home. She will be buried at a later date. Betty was born May 12, 1935 in Illinois to Lyle and Irene (Weber) Roberts. Betty was retired from Wal-Mart in Ottawa. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Humane Society. She loved to read Stephen King novels and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by two children, Kathy (Bill) Manley and Ron Peek; six grandchildren, Craig Peek, Kim (Rob) Kelly, Dana Manley, Ben Manley, Nicole Peek, and Corrina Peek; two great grandchildren, Peyton Anderson and Max Kelly; two sisters, Ruth (Jim) Catolnello and Norma (Gary) Wheeler; and one brother, Michael Roberts. She is preceded in death by her parents; two children, Arnold Peek Jr and David Peek; and five siblings, George Weber, Lyle Roberts Jr., Delores Hetzner, Martha Young, and Ruby Mae Geiger. Memorials may be directed to her family.
