Betty J. Camplin, 73, of Ottawa, died Monday, April 6, at Ottawa Pavilion. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum Chapel of the Good Shepherd in Oakwood Memorial Park with the Rev. Kangse Lee of Epworth United Methodist Church officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded. Arrangements were entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home. She was born June 5, 1935, in Ottawa, to Boniface and Lucille (Horton) Duffy. She had worked at Ryburn King Hospital as a surgical nurse and was a private caregiver. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Debra (Randy) Eskew of Sheridan; grandson, Rick Wawerski of Ottawa; a sisters, Bonita Aldersea of Ottawa; and three nieces, Ann (Mike) Donahue of Streator, Barbara (Dennis) Brown of Salisbury, N.C., and Mary (Harry) Burgess of Oglesby. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Mary Duffy; and a brother-in-law, James Aldersea.
