Betty Boyle

Elizabeth "Betty" Boyle, 90, of Ottawa, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at her home.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 2 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Ottawa Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00am on Saturday June 3, at St. Columba Church, with Fr. Gary Caster officiating.

Betty was born July 8, 1932, in Streator, IL, to Walter and Mary (Jakupcak) Adams. She married William Boyle Sr. on  June 23, 1956 at St. Mry's church in Streator. He passed away September 18, 2005.

Betty was a homemaker, always taking care of the children and the house. She always took care of her flowers and made sure everything was in its place. She was a great cook, she enjoyed playing bingo, and watching her favorite TV shows, Wheel of Fortune and Everybody Loves Raymond.

She is survived by her two sons, William Boyle Jr. and Robert Boyle; her two grandsons, Chris Boyle and Steve Jacobsen; her great grandson, Dylan Boyle; and her two sisters, Shirley Oldani and Pat Mann.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
