Bertha Murry

Bertha D. "Birdie" Murry, 88, of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Ottawa Pavilion. Funeral Services will be at Noon on Thursday July 10, 2014 at the Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the services at noon. Burial will be later at Oakwood Memorial Park. Bertha was born September 9, 1925 in Ottawa, Illinois to Alfred and Mary (Connors) Halterman. She married Pearce Murry on June 21, 1974 in Ottawa. She was a member of St. Columba Church. She is survived by one son, Harry (Cindy) Halliday, of Ottawa; one daughter, Gayleen (Gary) Tabor; three grandchild, Cassandra Thompson, Gary Lee Tabor, Emily Kleidon; one sister, Madeline Brewer of AZ; and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Pearce Murry; and two sisters, Rita Anselme and Kathleen Hickey Memorials may be directed to Pet Project.
