Beatrice L. Wilcox BORN: September 21, 1930 DIED: February 7, 2011 LOCATION: Marseilles, Illinois and formerly of Warren, OH Beatrice L. Wilcox, 80, of Marseilles, Ill. and formerly of Warren, died Monday, February 7, 2011 at Ottawa Regional Hospital, Ottawa, Ill. She was born September 21, 1930 in Warren, the daughter of Glen and Mary (Mocella) Murray, and had lived in the Warren area most of her life. An active member of Tod Avenue United Methodist Church, Mrs. Wilcox had worked in the kitchen at St. Joseph's Hospital for many years. Surviving are her son, Herbert C. Wilcox of Ottawa; three grandchildren: Amy E., Adam M., and Angela K. Wilcox; two sisters: Phyllys June Savelle of Howland and Carol (Bill) Sandrock of Kinsman; and a brother, Glen (Millie) Murray of Cortland. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Howard F. Wilcox, whom she married January 14, 1949 and who died December 31, 2006; and a sister, Ruth Jones. A memorial service will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 13, 2011 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481 with Rev. Mark Vincent officiating. Interment will be conducted privately at Crown Hill Burial Park. Friends may call 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
