Barbra Tendall

Barbra A. Tendall, 89, of Seneca, IL passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 at her daughter's home in Seneca. A Celebration of Life will be at 7:00 PM Sunday, December 23, 2012, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Seneca with Rev. Chris Zierke officiating. Visitation will be at 6:00 PM one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be private. Barbra was born September 22, 1923 in Estherville, Iowa to Paul and Pearl (Wall) Peterson. She married Otto Cyrus Tendall Jr. September 26, 1948 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ottawa. He preceded her in death October 5, 1996. She worked at Ottawa Silica, E.I. duPont and Enron of Morris. She retired in 1981. Barbra was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Seneca, Rebeka Circle, and Home Extension. She is survived by one daughter, Suzanne (David) Thompson of Seneca; two sons, Stephen (Rosita) Tendall of Davenport, IA and Michael (Tina) Tendall of DeWitt, IA; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Barbra is preceded in death by her husband; and one brother, Garth Peterson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Special Olympics Illinois, Our Savior's Lutheran Church, or Seneca Food Pantry.
