Austin J. "AJ" Gray, 20, of Ottawa, IL, died, Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center. Memorial Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, June 29, 2009 at Ottawa Funeral Home, with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Cremation rites were accorded. Visitation and a celebration of his life will be from 9:00 -11:00 am, Monday, June 29 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Austin J. "AJ" Gray was born Thursday, December 15, 1988, in Ottawa, IL, to David and Beth (Proehl) Gray. He graduated from Illinois Valley Community College; he had played Football at Ottawa Twp. High school and was an outdoorsman. He is survived by His Parents, Two brothers Dwain of Texas, Matthew Gray of Ottawa and one sister Catherine "Katie" Gray of Ottawa. His Paternal Grandfather Ernest (Pat) Gray of Wenona, His Maternal Grandmother Lorine Proehl of Ottawa. Five Aunts Gail Gray of Chicago, Dawn Mucik of Dayton, Dee Dee (George) Cervantes of FL. Bonnie (Roger) Zuk & Cindy (Kevin) Sampson both of Ottawa, Three Uncles Ernie (Diane) Gray, BennyGray and Robert Gray all of Ottawa. and the love of His life Angela Ross of Ottawa He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandmother Catherine Gray and his Maternal Grandfather Dwain Proehl. Memorials may be directed to the Austin Gray Memorial Fund at the Ottawa Savings Bank.
