Ashton Lunsford

Ashton Lunsford, 17, of Ottawa, IL, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 4 pm, Sunday, May 2 at Ottawa Funeral Home, with Pastor Sherry Stevenson officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 pm, prior to services, at the funeral home. Ashton was born July 24, 2003 in Ottawa to Darren Lunsford and Julie (Stanford) Dumke. He was a senior at Ottawa Twp. High School. He enjoyed fishing, riding his dirt bike, playing video games, and spending time with his Uncle Justin at the family business. He is survived by his parents, Darren (Lexi) Lunsford and Julie (Judd) Dumke; his grandparents, Carla & Jerry Brandow, Frank & Mary Dumke, Carolyn Lunsford, Ken & Billie Rexroat, and Ed Stanford; his two brothers, Jaydin Lunsford and Cameron Dumke; and two sisters, Lylah Dumke and Anniston Lunsford Ashton was preceded in death by his grandfather Carl Reed. Memorials may be directed to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
