OTTAWA -- Ashleigh "Paige" Marie Bennett, 7, of Ottawa, Ill., passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, at Children's Memorial Hospital in Milwaukee, Wis. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ottawa Funeral Home with the Rev. Polly Klimson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Paige was born Sept. 26, 2000, in Peoria, Ill., to Robert and Jennifer (Katrein) Bennett. She attended Wallace Grade School and loved cats, especially Hello Kitty. Though Paige loved bright colors, her favorite was red. She enjoyed going to beaches on family vacations to search for sea shells. Her family was most important to her as she loved to bake with Gram, girl's days out shopping, planting flowers and teasing her older brother. Paige was PaPa's Angel Baby and let everyone know it. Her love for her family will remain in their hearts forever. Survivors include her parents, Robert and Jennifer (Katrein) Bennett; a brother, Ashton Bennett; her maternal grandparents, Cindi and James Katrein of Ottawa; her paternal grandparents, Andrews (Sharon) Bennett and Chris Missel; great-grandparents, Walt and Joan Kofoid, Florence Katrein, Ed and Dolores Marshall, Virginia Bennett and Robert Bennett; aunts and uncles, Jamie and (Gary) Dillavou, James Jr. (Jennifer) Katrein, Sina (Brett) Pavia and Adam (Emily) Rissman; and cousins, Darien and Madison Dillavou, Christina Vansickle, Alex Rissman and Brooke Kofoid. She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, William "Pete" Katrein. Pallbearers will be James Katrein Jr., Gary Dillavou, John Declue, Dominick Crum, Larry Kofoid, Ed and Albert "Skip" Marshall and Adam Rissman.
