Arthur Wilhelmi

Arthur P. Wilhelmi, 72, of Port Isabel, Texas and formerly of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at his home in Glendale Heights, Illinois. Funeral Services will be at 7:00 PM Friday, February 13, 2015 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev.David E. Daniel Officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Ottawa Funeral Home. He will be cremated following services. Arthur was born June 20, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois, to Elmer and Pauline (Hoffman) Wilhelmi. He married Jeralyn White on July 29, 1967 in Ottawa. He was a 1960 graduate of Ottawa High School. He worked at Local 17 Heat & Frost Insulators for 38 years. He enjoyed his retirement with his dream job of Manager and Golf Pro at Long Island Village Golf Course in Port Isabel, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeralyn (White) Wilhelmi; his sister, Ann Rodriguez; two sons, Scott (Margie) Wilhelmi of Wheaton, Illinois and Mark Nancy) Wilhelmi of Warrenville, Illinois; three grandchildren, Megan Wilhelmi, Jamie Wilhelmi, and Steven Durham. He is preceded in death by his father, Elmer Wilhelmi; his mother, Pauline (Hoffman) Wilhelmi; and his brother, Norman Wilhelmi. Memorials may be directed to the family.
