Arlene (Graham) Miller,96, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the Pavilion of Ottawa with her family by her side.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Ottawa Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, January 23, at 10:30am at St. Columba Church. Burial will follow in St. Columba Cemetery.
Arlene was born August 30, 1929 in Ottawa, IL to James and Lauretta (McGrath) Graham. She married Donald Miller on July 21, 1951 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marseilles, IL. He preceded her in death on January 23, 2008.
Arlene graduated from St. Xavier (Marquette) in 1947. She worked at Farm & Fleet and was affectionately known as the "Plumbing Lady". She retired in 1995. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, canning, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid quilter and made quilts for all of her grandchildren as graduation gifts.
She is survived by her children, Gene (Jackie) Miller, Pat Miller, Laurie (Don) Fieldhouse, and Mark (Angela) Miller; 15 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Lauretta; her husband of 56 years, Donald; and her siblings, Art Graham, James Graham, Francis Graham, Loretta Bokus, Dorothy Wentz, Pat Hanson, and Anna Marie Miller.
Her family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the staff of Heritage Woods and Pavilion of Ottawa for the exceptional care shown to her over the years.
Memorial contributions in her honor may be directed to the St. Columba Building Fund or for masses in her honor.
