Annette Roix

Annette "Nette" Roix, 39, of Ottawa, IL, died, Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at her home. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Christ Community Church, with Pastor John Nordstrom, officiating. Visitation will be from 4 - 8 pm, Tuesday, April 14 at Christ Community Church, 807 LaSalle St., Ottawa, Il., 61350. Cremation rites will be accorded. Annette was born February 26, 1970, in Princeton, Illinois, to Kenneth Stanfield and Margaret Bird. She married Scott Roix on August 2, 1991. Annette was a dedicated member of Christ Community Church for 15 yrs. Over the years she led small groups, served as Youth Leader, Wee Care Coordinator and greeter. She was also a member of the creative writer team. She is survived by her husband, Scott Roix; two daughters, Meagan and Karrigan; two sons, Logan and Zachary; her parents, Kenneth (Wanda) Stanfield and Margaret (Bird) Stanfield both of Princeton; two sisters, Suzanne (John) Zeman of Belvidere, IL and Rebecca Bland of Sacramento, CA; two brothers, David (Sarah) Stanfield of Rockford, IL and Daniel (Sharon) Stanfield of Kenosha, WI. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Ina Mae Bird, and a niece, Ashley Bland. Pallbearers will be David and Daniel Stanfield, Tom Reynolds, Don Maxon, Jonathan Bowman, and Logan Roix. Memorials may be directed to the family in lieu of flowers, for the children's education.
