Anne C. Piercy

Anne C. Piercy, 59, of Ottawa, Illinois, died, Monday, August 8, 2011, at her home. Memorial Services for Anne will be on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa with Rev. Joseph Donton officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2011 at the Ottawa Funeral Home. Anne was born July 7, 1952 to Curtis and Shirley (Brown) Clay. She married Dale Piercy in LaSalle in 1970. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa. She was a loving and caring woman who touched the lives of all those who knew her. Her pride and joys were her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by 2 daughters, Molly (Edmund) Dougherty of Naplate and Emily Piercy of Ottawa; 2 grandchildren, Maddie and Liam Dougherty; 2 sisters, Barb (Jeff) Toraason of California and Nicki (Ralph) Edgcomb of LaSalle; a niece Jennifer (Todd) Stoneking of Utica; and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 daughter, Elizabeth. Memorials may be directed to the family.
