Anne Marie Maccono, 89, of Ottawa passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at St. Mary's Church in Naplate with Father Jules Adator officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 - 11:00 prior to services on Tuesday, March 6 at St. Mary's Church in Naplate. Entombment will be in Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Oakwood Memorial Park. Anne was born February 2, 1923 in Ottawa, Illinois to Sam and Josephine (Alacko) Tershowski. She married Dominic Maccono July 23, 1944 at St. Mary's Church in Naplate. She worked as a painter at Radium Dial in Ottawa. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and Dayton Ridge Golf Club. She is survived by her daughter, Janet (Roy) Garland of Utica; two grandchildren, Amy (Tim) Durdan and Brian (Jean) Garland; and five great-grandchildren, Emily, Neal, and Jack Durdan, Joseph and Drew Garland. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Dominic; three brothers, John, Mike, and Steve Tershowski; and three sisters, Mary Norton, Olga Toftoy, and Theresa Willet. Pallbearers will be her great-grandchildren. Memorials may be directed to the family.
