Anna Reiner

PERU -- Anna Marie Reiner, 85, of Peru, formerly of Ottawa, died Monday, Aug. 6, at Manor Court in Peru. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Columba Church in Ottawa with the Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ottawa Funeral Home. Mrs. Reiner was born Jan. 14, 1922, in Joliet, to Charles P. and Caroline (Ludtka) Lilley. She married Casper Carl Reiner on Feb. 10, 1941, at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa. He died Dec. 16, 2004. She was a member of St. Columba Church and the Moose Lodge. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Sue (Edward) Dobberstein of Cumming, Ga., and Mary Ann (Mark) Small of La Salle; four sons, Carl C. of Urbana, Dr. Michael J. of Green Belt, Md., Charles P. of Ottawa and Daniel J. (Mary O'Neal) of Longmont, Colo.; six grandchildren, Emily, Benjamin, Jonathan, Kristen, Kaitlyn and Kyle; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Eva Renaldi of La Salle. She was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Hipes; and a brother, James. Pallbearers will be Carl, Charles, Michael and Daniel Reiner, Mark and Kyle Small and Ben Dobberstein.
