Anna (Ann) M. McAlpine, 88, of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away on February 5, 2012 at Ottawa Pavilion. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Ottawa with Rev. Michael Adrie officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Ottawa Funeral Home with prayers at 4:00 p.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Anna was born May 2, 1923 in Ottawa, Illinois to Matthew and Barbara (Ramsak) Bluth. She married Roy McAlpine on November 27, 1948 at St. Francis of Assisi Church. He passed away January 8, 2007. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Catholic Daughters of America, Altar and Rosary, and a friends card club. She worked at Bradford's Laundry, the Daily Times, and volunteered at the Pleasant View gift shop. She is survived by two sons, Robert (Kim) McAlpine and William (Rhonda) McAlpine, both of Ottawa; one daughter, Barbara (Donald) Johnson of Marseilles; eight grandchildren, Tabitha (Joe) Kielan, Renee (Brett) Miller, Matt McAlpine, Sean McAlpine, Ryan (Raven) McAlpine, Steven McAlpine, Justin (Paige) Keylard, and Cody (Shannon) Keylard; eight great grandchildren, Brennen, Landon, Braxten, and Brent McAlpine, Samantha Miller, Ella Kielan, Ryder and Carson Keylard. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy and a brother, Edward Bluth. Pallbearers will be Matt, Ryan, and Steven McAlpine, Justin and Cody Keylard, and Brett Miller.
