Anita Marlene (Mann)Wegrzyn, 85, of Oglesby, IL, passed away peacefully on May 20th, 2024 at the Ottawa Pavilion.

Anita was born November 7th, 1938, in Marseilles, IL, to Herbert Thomas Mann and Martha Willy Johnson . She married Robert Wegrzyn on June 1st, 1991 in Morris, Illinois.

Anita enjoyed art, writing children stories, and gardening. She loved her grandchildren dearly.

She is survived by her sons; Russell Modesitt Jr., Donald (Athena) Modesitt; daughters, Terry (Owen) Reints, Julie (Mario) Berber, Randy (Ann) Wegrzyn; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Rebecca Goetsch, Caroline Krause.

Anita was preceded in death by both her parents; brother, Herbert Maynard Mann; sisters; Shirley Ceja Nona Haff, Dara Newmann; and her late husband Robert Wegrzyn.
