Angela M Sticklen

Angela M. Sticklen, 86, of Ottawa, IL, died, Friday, September 30, 2011 at her daughters home. Memorial Mass for Angela will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2011, at St. Columba Church with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, October 2, 2011 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Ottawa Funeral Home. Angela was born August 30, 1925 in River Forest, Illinois, to Richard and Helen (Barrett) Carey. She married John P. Sticklen October 3, 1953 in LaGrange Park, Illinois. He died August 27, 1975. She is survived by three daughters; Liz (Dennis) Blackford, Mary (Matt) Murry, and Sue Prettyman, all of Ottawa; and four grandchildren, Emily (Clint) Voights, Maureen Murry, Michael Murry, and Kaitlin Prettyman. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, John P. Sticklen, Jr., three sisters and two brothers. She was a member of St. Columba Church and Catholic Daughters of America. Memorials may be directed to St. Columba Church, American Heart Association, and Multiple Sclerosis Association.
