Angela Duffy

Angela Marie Duffy, 49, of Ottawa, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025 at Parker Nursing Home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Cremation rites have been entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Oakwood Memorial Park at a later date.

Angela was born April 24, 1975, in Ottawa, IL, the daughter of Susie and Hoyt Wilhelm.

Angela grew up in Ottawa, attending Marquette High School and later attending the University of Phoenix where she attained her associates degree. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, especially the trip she took to Scotland. She was an avid bowler and loved to play bingo. She was a great mom to her 5 children and she loved each and every one of them deeply.

She is survived by the love of her life, Ryan Kwit; her children, Faith Kwit, Skyler Thompson, Oakley Whalen, Hunter Duffy, and Paris Duffy; her siblings, Kiley Wilhelm and Kara (Josh) Marco; as well as numerous extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Susie and Hoyt, as well as her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Dettore.

Memorials may be directed to Ryan to help cover burial expenses.
