Alma Rexroat

Alma Rexroat, 75, of Ottawa, IL passed away Monday, January 4, 2010 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Thursday, January 7 at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa with the Rev. Philip Halfacre officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Wednesday at Ottawa Funeral Home with prayers at 4:00. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Alma was born November 20, 1934 in Cincinnati, OH to Everett and Alma (Kendall) Smith. She married Al Rexroat February 3, 1962 at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa. She was a Teller at the First National Bank in Ottawa. Alma is survived by her husband, Al; one daughter, Julie Rexroat of Ottawa; three sons, Scott (Joan) of Lake in the Hills, IL, Tim and Russ (Carie) both of Ottawa; six grandchildren, Josh and Justin Farro, and Trevor, Avery, Garrett, and Ryan Rexroat; one great grandson, Kaden Chalus; and one sister, Evelyn Hipes of Harding, IL. She is preceded by her parents; three brothers, Truman, Cecil, and Everett Smith; two sisters, Marybelle Stout and Virginia Anderson; two grandchildren, Christopher and Kaitlyn. Memorials may be directed to the family.
