Allan Green

Allan Wesley Green, 31, of Ottawa passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021.

Funeral Services will be held at 7 pm, Friday, May 7 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Kuafman officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm, prior to services, at the funeral home.

Allan was born May 19, 1989 in Ottawa to Richard Green and Pamela (Killion) Moe. He married Jennifer (Hackler) on September 17, 2013 at Starved Rock State Park.

Known by his friends and family as Vinny and Smiley, Allan is best remembered for his smile and bubbly personality. He would light up any room. He had a deep love for his family, and together they enjoyed Nerf wars, hiking at state parks, and walks by the canal. He enjoyed working on cars and was a gifted artist, and even tattooed his own work. Allan was a caring husband and father, and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; two sons, Xavier and Abel; step-daughter, Grace; mother-in-law, Lori Preci; mother, Pamela Moe; maternal grandmother, Judy Green Miskell; siblings, Amber Ferguson, Sharon Green, Rachel Green, and David "DJ" Wheeler; his close friend, Dave Carroll; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a baby in infancy; his father, Richard; father-in-law, Dominic “Sonny” Preci; his furry friend, Kilo; paternal grandfather, Richard "Dick" Green; and maternal grandparents, Mervin Killion and Norma Rath.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to his family.
