Adele "Arlene" Stencel-Ford

Adele "Arlene" Stencel-Ford, 79, of Ottawa, Illinois passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday, February 23, 2018 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Private burial services will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Wenona. Adele "Arlene" was born May 31, 1938 in Streator, Illinois to Carl and Mildred (Heineman) Stencel. She was a Registered Nurse for her entire adult life and retired from Ottawa Hospital after 32 years of service. She was Barry Manilow's biggest fan. She was a member Zion Lutheran Church. She is survived by her brother, Robert (Janet) Stencel; one nephew, Richard "Rick" Stencel; three great nieces, Kelsey Stencel, Kaitlyn Stencel, and Allison Stencel; and one great great nephew, Ryker Rasmussen. She is preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be directed to her family.
