Adam D. Zaver

Adam D. Zaver, 41, of Ottawa passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am, Saturday, December 9 at Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastors John Pickens and Kevin Donoho officiating. Visitation will be from 9 - 11 am, prior to the services, at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date. Adam was born March 20, 1976 in Arlington Heights, IL to Clyde and Patricia (Schlager) Zaver. He grew up in Hanover Park, IL, where he played football and wrestled during his school years at Glenbard North High School in Carol Stream. Adam loved being outdoors camping, bird watching, and fishing. He enjoyed listening to music, singing, reading, and cooking. Adam was a loving son and father-his children were his world. He is survived by his parents; his former wife, Amanda and their four kids, Jaden, Alexa, Bryce, and Shayne all of Ottawa; his brother Scott (Jenny) Zaver of Cortland, IL; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Memorials may be directed to the family.
