Mary C. Patton, 93, of Seneca passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Morris Hospital.

Funeral Service for Mary will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Morris, with Rev. Steve Larson officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home in Seneca and at 9:00 am, one hour prior to services, at the First Baptist Church in Morris. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Seneca.

Mary was born May 15, 1922, in Danville, Illinois, to Albert and Myrlie (Kitts) Moore. She married Fred D. Patton on November 17, 1939, in Hartford, Kentucky; he passed away October 6, 1999. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Morris. Mary had a strong love for her family; she cherished every moment with them especially when they would go out to eat. She will always be known within her family and in the community as the "pie lady". She enjoyed showing everyone her appreciation for the many kind things they would do for her by baking them a pie.

She is survived by two sons, Ron (Donna) Patton of Seneca and Gary (Judy) Patton of Ottawa; one daughter, Bonnie (Emmett) Joneson of Morris; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Andrew (Dorothy) Moore of Marseilles and Gene (Connie) Moore of E. Troy, WI; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred; one son; three brothers, Lawrence, A.J., and Clarence Moore; and one sister, Loraine Kiest.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Randy, Les, Bobby, Matt, Tim, Dean, Joe, and Bill.

Honorary pallbearers will be her great grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
