Charles Boswell

Charles A. Boswell 79, of, Seneca, IL passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017 at St. Margaret Health in Hammond, Indiana. Funeral Ceremony will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home in Seneca, 135 E. Lincoln St, with Rev. Robert Parnell officiating. Visitation will be 10:00-12:00, prior to services, Tuesday as Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home, 135 E. Lincoln St, Seneca. Burial will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at 2:00pm Tuesday, following services with military honors. Charles was born June 18, 1938 in Harvey, Illinois to Oscar and Faye Boswell. He proudly served as a United States Marine. He married Kathy Jo Scott August 13, 1970 in Chicago; she passed away August 29, 2009. Charles worked for Allis Chalmers and then at United Airlines as a mechanic, from where he retired. He is survived by two sons, Patrick Allen Boswell and Sean Lee Boswell, both of Lansing, IL; two brothers, Jesse Boswell and Wade Boswell; six grandchildren, Courtney Lynn, Zak, Berlyn, Beau, Ian, and Sherri. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Kathy Jo; his parents; one daughter Jill Prusak; one son Charles Boswell Jr.; and his eleven siblings. Memorials may be directed to his family.
